Often called the “Minister of Groove,” Z authored the No. 1 award-winning and best-selling book and DVD package The Commandments of R&B Drumming (Alfred Publishing). The Commandments of Early Rhythm & Blues Drumming – his latest effort in collaboration with Daniel Glass – is another masterpiece of biblical proportions. It was the winner of a Drummie! Award for Best Drumming Book in Drum! magazine.
